Vets on Balwyn has a kitten adoption program designed to help abandoned kittens find a loving home. As proponents of the ‘adopt, don’t shop’ movement, we are committed to preventing the euthanasia of healthy animals and giving them a second chance at a happy life.

The kittens we adopt out have been:

  • Health checked by one of our veterinarians
  • Microchipped
  • Vaccinated with a F3 vaccination
  • Treated for fleas
  • Dewormed

When you adopt a kitten from Vets on Balwyn, you can expect your new feline friend to come with a record of their known history, a vaccination certificate, a kitten start-up kit and a voucher for discounted de-sexing (getting your kitten de-sexed plays an important part in minimizing the number of abandoned animals). Adopting a kitten is an incredibly rewarding experience and can change the course of a young animal’s life, so if you’ve been thinking about getting a new cat, consider our kitten adoption program.

If you are interested in adopting a mature cat, we recommend going to the Cat Protection Society in Greensborough or the RSPCA in Burwood.
