The team were caring, professional, and gentle during his vaccinations and worming. They took the time to teach our children how to safely interact with and care for him, and provided plenty of helpful advice for first-time puppy owners. Rosie unfortunately had an incident with a stick and was looked after by the Vicky and the team. They were so lovely and took Rosie in to care for her despite being fully booked. Rosie has recovered so well thanks to the amazing team. Fergus visited this week for his annual Vaccinations while Rosie was having a post op check up, Vivian was super friendly and gentle with them both  and rewarded them with lots of treats during their visit which really helps with Rosie's confidence ❤️

Where is Vets on Balwyn located?

Vets on Balwyn is on the corner of Balwyn Road and Echo Avenue at the end of the Boroondara Shopping Centre.

Is there parking near the clinic?

On-street parking is available at the front of the clinic on Balwyn Road, as well as down Echo Avenue. If you are having difficulty locating a park close to the clinic, call us and a nurse can meet you at the road to collect your pet/s while you locate a carpark.

What should I do if my pet is unwell and no appointments are available online?

Please call the clinic on 9857 8100 if your pet is unwell, and we will organise a time for them to be seen as soon as possible. If you feel it is an emergency please come straight down to the clinic.

What should I do if my pet becomes unwell outside of normal opening hours?

If your pet becomes unwell after hours or on public holidays, we recommend visiting the Melbourne Animal Specialist Hospital (MASH) in Ringwood, open 24/7. No appointment is needed for emergencies.

All fees must be paid on the day of treatment. If you require financial assistance, we do offer the use of Zip-pay and VetPay. Please speak to the team if you need help setting up an account with either of these companies.

For pets with insurance, we offer GAPONLY. Please allow an additional 5-10 minutes at the end of your appointment for your claim to be processed.
